The Vedado district of Havana is the hip, cultural center of Havana. You can walk along the Malecon seawall during the day and enjoy the ocean views or walk at night and get a real eye-full by watching and meeting all the the colorful people, gay and straight.

There are several movie theaters and music venues. You'll find a statue of John Lennon sitting in a Vedado park. The Hotel Nacional sits on a small hill for everyone to see from miles around.
